Prosthetic Representative

This position is located in the Prosthetic Service at the Carl Vinson VAMC, Dublin, GA.
The duties of the Prosthetic Representative are to administer and perform work concerned with rendering prosthetic and sensory aids services to disabled patients.
The incumbent will share in the management of all phases of the Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service Specialty Programs.
The duties for this position may include, but are not limited to:
Reviewing medical and administrative files of veterans Determining eligibility Advising on the different appliances and services available Maintaining inventory Interpreting clinician prescriptions to ensure proper device selection Researching supply sources and purchasing/aquiring appliances Maintain fund control points and preparing budget estimates Develop statement of Work for service contracts Responds to a variety of correspondences i.
e.
congressionals, contractors, home oxygen program issues Conduct home and vendor visits to determine contractor compliance.
Develops and conducts continuous on-site training to address errors and undesirable trends reflected by the data requiring in access of 25% of time at locations.
Executes and controls established spending plans Analyzes, review and evaluate the results of various monitors and database.
Ensures clinic decisions are implemented Serves as technical advisor and subject matter expert.

00 am - 4:
30 pm M-F.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
